Vidrozhena

It's about recording missteps, writing when coming down from ———— during the dead of night, quieter streets and alleys, crescent moons over city blocks, having plenty of words for some things and then no words for other things, only utterances from strings and sounds to try and make sense of those times that keep you quiet in their intensity. Seeing floods in spaces after you flee, watching yourself age, shutting doors and turning off all the lights. Strings from each instrument, each layer as part emotional barometer and part witchcraft. This is Vidrozhena.

Vidrozhena is Leah Basarab on bass guitar, electric cello, and various other layers. She resides / creates in Philadelphia.
